ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ufuk studied in Art Academy in Turkey and Gerrit Rietveld academy in Amsterdam. Starting career as Animation assistant and story board artist. Later worked as graphic designer for advertising agencies in Istanbul.
After she went to Amsterdam continued studies in Gerrit Rietveld academy and works as decor and costume designer, making posters for theater productions and woman organizations. Since 1990 focus working on her paintings.
From 2000 she was travels and works in Europe and Middle East with her husband and making art research in different country’s .
She is working as artist fine art teacher given Art Work Shops in Abu Dhabi CULTURAL FOUNDATION , Qatar Art Waif Center, free lance art director and making book illustrations in different country’s .

Her early painting inspired from modern and classic art but particularly from fresco’s . Latest artistic influence based on romantic, beauty, nostalgic portraits with soft tones of colors. Mostly solve the paintings with some elements. She says portraits have a expressions, expressions tell the story’s and I like to tell good story’s .
