ABOUT THE ARTIST
Atila Kanbir has studied arts at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul. He is living currently in Amsterdam. He is known with his illustrations, theater affiches, and cartoons which are as well in groups as solo exposed many times.Figurative meanings based on decorative elements are looking for meaning behind the dynamics of the lines in Kanbir's work. He is finding out the dream behind the material forms without loosing the simplicity in the movement of the lines and the colors.
