Graphic designer based in Amsterdam
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Meltem Aktürk is a graphic designer with an experimental work character. After her studies (2004-2008) at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, she worked as a freelancer for various clients, including Rembrandthuis, MiAcademy, Fair Wear Foundation, The Performing Arts Fund and the Province of Noord-Brabant. Because of her photography background, she often does the matching photography for her clients.
A well-thought-out concept is the most important thing for her, which is based on extensive research. With the starting point 'visually attractive' and 'meaningful' she gets to work and translates the message into a graphic design. She is open to experiments and dares to take on challenges.
